SUMMARY:Emergency Paediatric First Aid - 1 Day Course 6th November 2025
DESCRIPTION:The Emergency Paediatric First Aid course provides students with Basic First Aid skills  in line with current UK Resuscitation Council guidance.  It is an excellent course to teach members of staff basic life saving skills for adults\, children and infants during a short\, concise course that focuses on immediate priorities and effective\, simple care that can be performed until professional medical assistance arrives. \nEmergency Paediatric First Aid course meets with the recommendations for training an ‘Appointed Person’ in basic first aid skills as detailed in the HSE Approved Code of Practice L74. \nThe course content includes: \n\n\nImportance of self-protection and use of barriers \n\n\nPrimary Survey \n\n\nSecondary Survey \n\n\nUnconscious Casualties and Recovery Position \n\n\nAdult\, child and infant CPR \n\n\nChain of Survival \n\n\nAnaphylaxis \n\n\nBasic Bleeding Control \n\n\nSeizure Management \n\n\nChoking in adults\, children and infants \n\n\n
