The majority of accidents involve children under the age of 5 and adults over 65, though of course no one is immune. Every year, around 2 million children attend A&E due to accidents, many of which occur at school. It is vital that adults working with children have the skills and knowledge to identify, prevent and treat such accidents so that children are safe to learn and have fun. Whatever your learning environment and range of activity, our tailor made courses will help you and your pupils enjoy sport, classroom activities and play safe in the knowledge that you are prepared.
The 1981 Health and Safety Regulations require all employers, including the self-employed, to provide First Aid Training so employees can be given immediate attention if they have an accident or fall ill at work. Our courses can be tailored to suit your work space and activities. You are welcome to join an Open Course or we can organise onsite training for your team at your workplace (minimum 4 people).
